Angelica Bengtsson

Angelica Therese Bengtsson (Swedish track and fields athlete) is well-known by her pole-vaulting skills. She was the first female winner of the pole vault at the very first Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore in 2010. Bengtsson received gold medals for his athletics performance at the World Youth Championships (2009 and 2010) and his performance at the World Junior Championships (2010). Her birth father Mark Charlson is a retired U.S. Navy man from Iowa, United States; during the 1980s, he was on the U.S.S. O'Brien which was stationed in the Philippines. She was adopted by Annabelle Panganiban while she was a baby and her grandparents Adolfo as well as Mila Panganiban were able to raise her.
