The show was cancelled by Jessica 7th Heaven in season six. Her stellar performance in the role of a teenage Casey Jackson in the film Ulee's Gold brought her instant notoriety. Her performance in this film was rewarded with the honor of Best Supporting Youth Actress. Summer Catch, the comedy film in which she stars is a testament to her impressive acting abilities. In spite of her outstanding performance, Rules of Attraction was not an immediate success. Her performance of The Texas Chainshaw Massacre, a horror movie attracted the attention of the world. Her performance in suspense movies has proven her an experienced actor.
